All true teas contain some caffeine and originate from one plant: Camelia sinensis, a small evergreen shrub. Yet there are black teas, green teas, oolong, pu-ehr, and white teas- the differences come from how long the leaves are allowed to oxidize before they are dried. Everything else- herbal, fruit, rooibos, yerba mate, etc.- are more correctly referred to as tisanes.
Rooibos, commonly called red bush tea, is actually not a tea at all, but it has anti-tumor and anti-aging properties, and has been shown to relieve allergies, nervous tension and stomach cramps. it also promotes healthy skin, teeth and bones and is anti-viral and naturally caffeine-free.
